Ultimately, OP and her husband were able to talk, and he asked if they could do couples counseling to try to save their relationship. He also asked if they could continue co-parenting. The Reddit user revealed how her husband was determined not to lose his son, even if they divorced.
He also vowed to confront his mother after acknowledging how she’d interfered in their marriage. OP was staying put for the time being and hoped counseling would help teach her husband how to prioritize their union.
